  • It is extremely expensive. If some of these gentlemen had to pay what I do for insurance, they would be shocked. That is not even speaking about my co-pays on medicine and doctors visits. My insurance doesn't cover several of my meds because I am allergic to the generic.

  • I have a suggestion...maybe the good people in congress and the senate should give up their health care. We do pay for it, after all. the money not spent on their health care can be used to pay for that needed by people who don't have a job. The senate and congress can afford to pay for their own.

  • Norcal, at least someone has a sense of humor. Seriously, though. It is obvious that Obama is an natural-born citizen. Those who don't want to admit it are just set in their ways. They wouldn't acknowledge the truth, even if they had been in the delivery room when he was born.

  • Look. Al Gore is a great man. I am so proud of him. It is an honor to be a citizen of the same state. I voted for him. Others did not. That was their ignorance. He would have been a great president. He was really good to us during his terms in office.

  • Thanks, P.R. I agree that Tennessee is beautiful. I know the area you are talking about well. I drove through there Saturday afternoon (as it was really raining hard at the time) and could not believe what it looked like on the news just a few hours later.

  • it is. I saw that this morning. There are several historic places with water damage. It is also getting close to the capital building. this is really something else. The Grand Ole Opry is also flooded.

  • The only time I have heard it mentioned on a national news outlet was during Keith Olbermann's broadcast tonight. He talked about it (briefly) and asked people to text and donate to the Red Cross. It was nice of him, but we need more coverage of it. The water is still rising.
